What does this setting do?

The format is hours:minutes:seconds, and the default of 240:00:00 equals ten days. If a vehicle is not moved within that window, the server clears it away.

This is not merely housekeeping; it feeds straight back into vehicle availability. Because parked vehicles count towards the maximum for their type, every forgotten car blocks a slot. Without this timer nothing new would spawn after a few weeks, since all slots would sit parked inside bases.

Conversely, too short a window punishes players on holiday. Ten days is a sensible starting point; go below it only if vehicle slots are genuinely tight.

Which value suits my server?

Relaxed PvE

360:00:00 (15 days). A holiday costs nobody a vehicle.

Classic PvP

240:00:00 (default).

Hardcore

168:00:00 (7 days). Not playing means losing your slot.

What to watch out for

It counts use, not logins

The clock runs from the vehicle's last movement, not from the owner's last login. Play daily but never touch a second vehicle and you still lose it.

Announce changes first

Shortening this window applies retroactively to everything already parked. Without warning, vehicles vanish en masse after the next restart — the surest way to upset your regulars.
