What does this setting do?

The default of 30000 seconds is over eight hours — and that is no accident. Bunkers are sealed areas that open for limited windows and hold especially rewarding loot. Without this rule players could log out inside, wait for the next opening and bypass the access mechanic entirely.

In practice the high number means: log out in a bunker and you lie there, findable and killable, for practically the whole time you are offline. That is the intended deterrent.

Lowering this value opens a loophole that defeats the entire bunker mechanic.

Which value suits my server?

Relaxed PvE

Keep 30000 (default).

Classic PvP

Keep 30000.

Hardcore

Keep 30000.

What to watch out for

Lowering it opens a loophole

With a short delay players wait inside bunkers for the next opening, bypassing keycards and time windows. This is one of the few values best left exactly as it is.
