What does this setting do?
Abandoned bunkers are not permanently open: they open and close in rotation, and only the open ones can be entered. This value sets how many that is at any moment.
The number decides a core question of server life: whether bunkers are a meeting point or not. With two open bunkers, everyone after bunker loot converges there — with everything that follows. With four it spreads out and groups can avoid each other.
Which bunkers open is up to the game; you cannot specify them.
Which value suits my server?
Relaxed PvE
3 to 4. Groups do not inevitably collide.
Classic PvP
2 (default). Bunkers stay contested.
Hardcore
1 to 2.
What to watch out for
More open bunkers means more loot on the server
Every open bunker puts military equipment into circulation. If you raise the number, keep an eye on your loot settings.
