Hide the quick access bar

The bar showing which weapons and tools sit on which key.

What does this setting do?

The quick access bar shows what is assigned to the number keys. This switch hides it; it is called Hide, so on means the bar is gone. It is visible by default.

Of all the display switches this is the mildest. The keys keep working, you simply no longer see what is on which. Anyone who knows their loadout hardly notices; anyone just starting out grabs the wrong thing more often.

For servers wanting a clean, cinematic screen it is a good first choice – far less consequential than hiding the life indicators and with no effect on survival mechanics.

Combined with hidden life indicators and a disabled map you end up with a practically empty screen. It looks excellent and belongs in the server description, so nobody suspects a bug.
