Disable exhaustion
Takes exhaustion out of the game – running and climbing then cost nothing in the long run.
scum.DisableExhaustion=False
What does this setting do?
Exhaustion is the slow counterpart to stamina: run, climb and haul for hours and you do not just get out of breath but increasingly exhausted, which only sleep and food fix. This switch removes it.
The negative reading applies again: Disable, so on means no exhaustion. It is present by default.
Turning it off is one of the most noticeable conveniences there is, because it makes the island feel smaller. You can walk from one end to the other without planning the route. On servers with few players on a large map that is a genuine gain.
The price is that food, sleep and vehicles lose part of their purpose. If you want to keep all three pillars of the survival game, leave exhaustion on and make vehicles easier to come by instead – that creates the same convenience without hollowing out the mechanics.
Which value suits my server?
Off (exhaustion stays). Otherwise food and sleep lose their point.
Off (exhaustion stays).
Off (exhaustion stays). Here it is exactly what you want.
What to watch out for
True disables exhaustion, False lets it work.
Without exhaustion you need far fewer supplies. On a tightly configured economy you notice immediately.
