What does this setting do?
The format is hours:minutes:seconds. After every restart island time begins at this value. That sounds minor but matters if your server restarts on a fixed schedule: put a night time here and your players land in darkness after every restart.
The default of 08:00:00 starts mid-morning — a sensible choice, because players need to get their bearings after a restart.
Which value suits my server?
Relaxed PvE
08:00:00 (default).
Classic PvP
Pick it around your restart schedule so a restart never lands inside raid hours.
Hardcore
Free choice — a night time is a deliberate decision too.
What to watch out for
Only applies at restart
This does not set the clock during a running session. To change the time immediately you need an admin command.
