What does this setting do?
The counterpart to sunrise. The later the sunset, the longer the bright part of the day. On servers with fixed evening play hours it pays to place the sun times so that the evening does not routinely fall entirely into night.
Keep time speed in mind: at the default of 3.84, one island hour passes in a good 15 real minutes. Extending daylight by two island hours therefore buys about half a real hour of light.
Which value suits my server?
Relaxed PvE
22:00:00 — the evening stays mostly bright.
Classic PvP
21:00:00 (default).
Hardcore
19:00:00 — darkness arrives early.
What to watch out for
Must come after sunrise
A sunset before sunrise makes no sensible day cycle. SCUM does not catch this for you.
