How far the end threshold drops for young bases
The discount on a siege's end threshold while a base is still new.
scum.BaseBuildingEncounterMaximumMinToEndReduction=-1
What does this setting do?
This value is the second half of the grace period for young bases. It states by how many elements the siege's end threshold is lowered when a base has only just been built.
An example makes it clear: if the siege normally ends with 50 elements standing and this reads 30, then for a brand new base it already ends at 20 – the attackers stop sooner. Over the configured grace period this discount shrinks to zero, until the base is treated like any other.
The allowed range is 0 to 1000, the default of -1 stands for the game default. Without a grace period in days this value has no effect.
When setting it, look at the end threshold itself: a discount larger than the threshold means sieges on a young base end almost immediately. That may be what you want – you should simply know it.
Which value suits my server?
30 to 60. A young base survives its first siege.
-1 (game default).
0 to 10. Barely any mercy.
What to watch out for
The discount needs a span over which to grow back. Always set both values together.
If the discount exceeds the threshold itself, a siege on a new base ends with practically the first shot.
