What does this setting do?

Behind a horde stands a group it draws from. Once that group is used up, it has to refill before another horde can form at that spot. This multiplier changes the time needed; it ships as 1.0.

It answers whether an area settles down after a horde attack has been survived. At high values a won fight buys peace for a good while, and you can loot, patch yourself up and move on. At low values the same area can go off again shortly afterwards.

This is the value to reach for when players report that a place “never stops”. It acts exactly there without making hordes rarer overall.

Together with the activation chance it gives the total dose: the chance says how often it goes off; this value says how soon the same spot can do it again.

Which value suits my server?

Relaxed PvE

1.5 to 3.0. There should be quiet after the fight.

Classic PvP

1.0 (default).

Hardcore

0.5 to 0.75. The same place stays dangerous.

What to watch out for

The value against repeated attacks

When players say an area never stops, the cause is usually here rather than in the activation chance.
