What does this setting do?

This multiplier stretches or compresses the timing of base sieges. It affects two spans at once: the wait before a newly grown base is checked for the first time, and the cooldown that passes after a siege before the next one can arrive.

Higher values mean more peace. At 3.0 three times as much time passes, both until the first attack and between two attacks – turning sieges into something you see a few times a month rather than a few times a week.

Low values are the fastest way to sour players. At 0.25 the same base can be attacked several times in quick succession, and repairs can no longer keep up with the damage.

If you want sieges to be a rare, memorable event, combine this value with a low probability: long interval, small chance. Together that feels far more coherent than turning just one of the two dials.

Which value suits my server?

Relaxed PvE

2.0 to 4.0. Long pauses so building remains possible.

Classic PvP

1.0 (default).

Hardcore

0.5 to 0.75. The threat stays present.

What to watch out for

It affects both timings

First trigger and cooldown share the same multiplier. They cannot be set separately.

Low values stack damage

When the next siege arrives before repairs are finished, players read it as a bug – even though it is only a setting.
