What does this setting do?

Once several flags per player are allowed, the server needs an answer to what a second flag actually buys. This number is that answer: 75 additional elements per further flag.

The value sits noticeably below the base limit of 100, and that is deliberate. The first flag is the expensive one in purpose and effort; every further one merely extends. Without this discount you could line up any number of full bases.

It only applies when multiple flags are permitted at all. With that switch off, this value has no effect whatever it says – a frequent reason for wondering why a change did nothing.

Raise it if you want large connected compounds. Keep it low if additional flags should mainly secure ground rather than multiply build volume.

Which value suits my server?

Relaxed PvE

75 to 150. Large shared compounds are welcome on building servers.

Classic PvP

75 (default). Additional flags secure terrain without doubling the fortress.

Hardcore

25 to 50 – or forbid multiple flags altogether.

What to watch out for

Useless without multiple flags

The value only applies when several flags per player are allowed. Check that switch before hunting here.

It counts per flag

With ten flags allowed it is ten times this amount on top. This is the value that fills up a map fastest.
