Allow shelter respawn
Whether players may come back at their own sleeping place.
scum.AllowShelterRespawn=True
What does this setting do?
This route returns a player to their own shelter after death – to the bedroll, the bed, the base. It is allowed by default and costs gold rather than ordinary money.
It is the only one of the four routes that puts you where your own gear is. That is exactly what makes it valuable and delicate at once: someone who dies is back at the same place, equipped, a few minutes later. On PvP servers that can turn a lost fight into an endless loop if the base is close enough.
Two values keep it in check. The cooldown prevents coming straight back, and the higher price outside your own flag area makes the route more expensive when used as transport. Both live with their respective settings.
Turning it off suits servers where the base should be a store rather than a return point. The way home then becomes a journey again.
Which value suits my server?
On. Returning to your own base is the most natural expectation.
On, with a noticeable cooldown. Otherwise the base becomes a resupply depot mid-fight.
Off. You walk home.
What to watch out for
Fighting close to your base means coming back equipped again and again. The cooldown is the decisive counterweight here.
The price is quoted in gold. On servers where gold is scarce this route is far more expensive than the number suggests.
