Damage of the attacking sentries
How hard the sentries hit that the game sends against large bases.
scum.BaseBuildingAttackerSentryDamageMultiplier=1.000000
What does this setting do?
When a base reaches a certain size, the game sends a base siege: sentries move in and attack the compound. This multiplier decides how much damage their normal weapons do while they are at it.
The value is the gentlest way to defuse these sieges. You can still let them happen – they are a good reason to build defences at all – while making sure they do not take a base apart in one night. A value of 0.5 lets the whole event play out at half the damage.
A value of 0 is allowed and renders the sentries harmless without switching the event off. If you want to keep the siege as a spectacle but never cost anyone their base, that is exactly the setting.
Note that this multiplier only covers the attackers' normal weapons. Railgun and grenades have their own values and must be set separately. Lower only this one and you will wonder why bases still end up with holes in them.
Which value suits my server?
0 to 0.5. The event may happen, it just should not destroy.
1.0 (default). Large bases need a reason for real defences.
1.5 to 2.0. An unmanned fortress should not stand for long.
What to watch out for
The attackers' railgun and grenades have their own multipliers. To really defuse the siege, set all three.
Even at 0 the sentries arrive and besiege the base. To remove the event entirely, set the trigger chance to 0.
