What does this setting do?

The dropship is the heaviest tier of base siege. It comes from the air, attacks from above and therefore hits exactly where most bases are thinnest – the roof. This multiplier decides how much it destroys while doing so.

The value depends on a switch: the dropship siege is off by default. While it is off, this multiplier has no effect whatever it says. If you enable the event, set this value deliberately in the same move rather than leaving it at default.

Because the attack comes from above, it works differently from a ground siege. Thick walls do not help; only a properly built roof does. On servers where players never needed a roof before, a high value therefore produces a wave of very surprised complaints.

Which value suits my server?

Relaxed PvE

0 to 0.5 if the event is on at all. Fine as a spectacle, not as a wrecking ball.

Classic PvP

1.0 (default). Large bases should be attackable from the air.

Hardcore

1.5 to 2.0. Roofs become mandatory.

What to watch out for

Useless without the dropship switch

The dropship siege ships disabled. This multiplier only applies once you enable it.

It hits the roof, not the walls

The attack comes from above. Bases built strong at the sides and open on top lose their contents very quickly.
