June update – the big cut

1.3.1.0.125621 30 June 2026

This update rebuilt hunting: instead of individual hunting events, wildlife now roams freely. That made the entire old set of settings obsolete.

Removed 23

The master server endpoints are no longer set through the config file.

scum.MasterServerEndpoints

Belonged to the old hunting encounter system. Replaced by the free-roaming wildlife system – its settings are now AreAnimalsAllowedInWorld, AnimalGlobalDensityMultiplier, MaxNonVirtualAnimalsInWorld and the per-species prevalence multipliers.

The plain on/off switch was replaced by a threshold: PuppetLimpingHealthThreshold and ArmedNPCLimpingHealthThreshold respectively. That sets at what level of injury limping starts, rather than merely whether it happens.

scum.PuppetLimpingEnabledscum.ArmedNPCLimpingEnabled

The separate “of those functional” figure now exists only for motorised land vehicles. For boats, bicycle, wheelbarrow, tractor and SUP only the maximum count applies.
